How To Use This Template Collection

This collection of templates is inspired by the WHO Safe Surgery Checklist and adapted for dental charting. Its purpose is to provide a structured, reliable workflow that promotes safety and consistent documentation.

The templates are organized in the top menu according to the sequence of a typical appointment. This reflects the natural order of care: Preparation, Diagnosis, Prognosis, Treatment, and Aftercare, which remains fairly consistent across cases.

The workflow can be followed in full, allowing providers and auxiliaries to complete chart notes as the appointment progresses. This reduces the risk of overlooking critical checks before treatment or recording important details long after the fact.

Alternatively, individual sections can be used on their own to complement or replace other templates or note systems.

Some templates also support re-importing previously entered data, enabling comparison with earlier records or adjustment of existing entries as needed.
